EsGate 2 is a two channel switching unit with independently operated safety relays. Being a Cat. 2 switching units there is an external test input to confirm correct operation of the unit.
The EsGate safety switching units are designed for evaluating the 8k2 resistor within safety edges and safety contact pressure mats.
The EsGate series are programmable units enabling you to customise them to suit your requirement; they are a true two channel device with integrated resistance display for self-diagnostics. Input 1 corresponds to output 1 and input 2 to output 2, which are ideal for distinguishing between the OPEN and CLOSED direction on an automatic gate application.
EsGate 2 is a DIN rail mounted compact unit with removable screw terminals for ease of installation. The unit achieves performance level d, cat. 2 according to EN ISO 13849-1.
